SUGARCREEK ROAD
The music of Sugarcreek Road is a unique blend of Country, Folk, Gospel, and Americana. The group is comprised of noted Chicago musicians: Scott Besaw, Kara Kesselring, Dayna Malow, and Patrick Williams, none of which are strangers to the stage. Their common love for this genre of music brought them together, with a focus on performing originals, standard gospel tunes, and obscure covers. Their close three part vocal harmony and diverse blend of instrumentation, make this group stand out.

THE GROVE AVE. MUSIC STUDIO 
Welcome to the Grove Ave. Music Studio! The Grove Ave. Music Studio offer voice and piano lessons to all ages and levels and is currently accepting new students.  Whether you’re inspired to learn Bach or Beatles, we cater the lesson style, time and lesson length to the student. Whether you’re inspired to perform or play as a hobby, The Grove Ave. Music Studio allows you to learn at your own pace.  Also available are children’s music classes, theory, and private string bass lessons.

Kara is classically trained in piano and voice with a B.A. Degree in vocal performance from the University of Iowa. She currently teaches private voice, piano, and vocal jazz classes at Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago and has worked in music education for the past twelve years. 

KARA KESSELRING TRIO
The Kara Kesselring Trio is comprised of Kara Kesselring-piano/vocals, Jarod Bufe-Tenor Sax, & Patrick Williams-Bass. The Kara Kesselring Trio blends pop and country repertoire into their jazz format making a refreshing sound. The Kara Kesselring Trio plays many public venues and is available for private events.

SOLO PIANO/VOCALS
Kara plays a myriad of piano styles and her voice has been compared to Norah Jones and Alison Krauss. Kara has played such rooms as the Pump Room, Coq D'Or-Drake, Philanders, The Ritz Carlton and many more.

CEREMONIES
Getting married is such an exciting time and having the perfect music is important for your special day! Kara is well versed in many styles of music: classical, pop, bossa nova, etc. and she looks forward to helping design the specific style for your dream wedding!

Kara's wedding package consists of 15 minutes of pre-wedding music, processional, internal music (either instrumental or vocals added if desired), and recessional music. Whether you have a traditional wedding ceremony in mind or a more modern ceremony planned, Kara will cater to your needs. She can provide a keyboard and/or PA if your location does not offer a piano. Kara is available to assist you with cocktail hour and dinner music. Please contact Kara for more details.

WAVELENGTH EDUCATIONAL THEATRE TROUPE
Wavelength is a comedy keynote theater troupe based in Chicago that provides humorous shows for educators. Kara and writing partner, Brendan Kelly wrote, and currently perform with Anne Sheridan Smith, "Musical Staff"- a cabaret parody for teachers. "Musical Staff" is available to hire live for your district or CDs are available for purchase at www.wavelength.biz Check out clips of the show with parody songs such as, "I should have crammed all night", "Greased Luncheon", & "Teach on Down the Road".
CHILDREN'S PROJECT

THE GRANDMA PROJECT 
Recorded and produced for Kara's grandmother in 2005, The Grandma Project is a CD of gospel arrangements in honor of her grandmother, Helen Kesselring in Ottumwa, Iowa.
